Access to information is a critical component to successful health care policy

Transparency is a core value of the Minnesota Health Action Group and the driving force behind all of the Minnesota Health Action Group’s key initiatives. The general public and the business community need access to information and data that can influence the decisions they make about how they purchase health care coverage and services.

For three decades, The Action Group has been working with employers, health care organizations, and political leaders to improve transparency in all aspects of health care and that spirit of collaboration is now more important than ever.

The Action Group continues to advocate for transparency in health care and to foster collaboration and innovation between business, health plans, health care providers, and political leaders. While we have come a long way toward our goal of helping to ensure that people receive the right care, at the right time, at the right price, further improvement and ongoing access to information will ultimately make that goal even more sustainable.
