10th Annual Employer Leadership Summit

10th Annual Employer Leadership Summit

May 19, 2017

Transitioning our health care system from one that is expensive and inequitable to one that is affordable and equitable requires keeping people healthy and providing consistent and outstanding patient care. This was the overarching message from 2017’s sold-out Annual Employer Leadership Summit.
“Health care reform is about simple execution with a high degree of collaboration,” said keynote speaker, Andy Slavitt. “Instead of building a new hospital wing or imaging center, we need to build better prevention programs that take social determinants into consideration. The cost of treating chronic conditions is out of control; people are becoming very sophisticated in their health care knowledge, and are ready to do their part.”
